On the Internet the audience can move away from your words with a click of the button so you need to be focused and on target. You can’t take time for a slow buildup or meandering discussion. If you (the writer) do not seem to be delivering the goods then the reader will simply move on. This does not mean you need to cater to the lowest denominator but it does mean that you need to know your audience as well as how to respond to that audience’s needs and desires.

Another important point is that many Internet readers scan documents quickly before committing themselves to reading. It is important to write clearly and concisely as well as use punchy headlines and subheadings as well as catchy introductions and conclusions as these are key points for scanning.

When you first start to write, you might be nervous about what other people will say about what you have written. After all we never liked to get our papers back in school for fear that we might not get a good grade or that others in our class might see what grade we got and that has carried over into every area of our lives.

Being criticized is just a way of life. It happens every where. From how we dress to how we write to how we do a job and I could go on and on about the places it pops up. Some comments are constructive but most are not.

However, you just have to muster up enough courage to begin to write down your stories and ideas. The world needs new ideas and problem solving solutions. Who knows when what you have to say might be just the answer for many many others.

Inside of all of us is a deeply ingrained fear that the bigger we get, the more popular or noticed we are the more we will become a target for criticism and the world throwing out “pot shots” about us whether they are true or not.

The news is full of comments about what others are doing. Never mind that they failed to get the facts or tell the truth. The more outrageous the news the more the papers or magazines will sell. Look at the paparazzi storms around people. No wonder we do not want that to be a part of our lives.

Again, you just have to gather up the courage and begin to write. Some will like your work, some will not and SO WHAT? They did not have your experience, did not feel what you did and there will be enough that will like what you have done to keep you wanting to write more.

Take the points out of the writing criticism that will help you improve your writing and ignore the rest. If it helps great, if it does not help it is just someone who is jealous that they are not writing too. Their resentment and anger is about them not about you. Be good at sorting what is really applies to you. There are many who want the credit without doing any of the work.

Be glad you are willing to write and put your work out and keep doing that.

Everyone of us has a story that we need to share with the world. You owe it to yourself and all the rest of us waiting to receive the gifts of your skills and expertise, to stop holding back and truely commit to the success that abides deep within you.

There is nothing like having someone read your work and become excited about what you shared. There’s no feeling like it in the world, especially when you’ve experienced the drought of not having enough readers. Once you pass through into having a following of readers for your work, you automatically get even more confidence to push you to the next level.

If you need help to get you to the next level so you can begin to experience the thrill of completing an article, book or ebook and having people want to purchase what you have written then you have many options for me to help you.

Refer to my recent post in these categories: Creative Writing or in How to Start Writing and look for the title Today’s Buzz Words Are Creative Writing Strategies and select the option(s) that will help you realize your dream of becoming an author and the thrill of discovering how to write in ways that readers want to connect with and will connect with you.

It’s seriously time you stopped hiding behind your computer (don’t you think) and start getting your writing into print and out in the market place. Your readers are waiting. Learn how to fish where the fish are and stop fishing in the wrong pond for your readers.

Congratulations on being predetermined for success when you take the steps to get the information and systems you need to tap into your inner author. Receive specific tools for you to use: “just add you.”

The key is implementation and all of my systems were created to make the information super easy to implement. After all we have been going around the same bush forever it seems like sometimes. Well, it’s time for some new scenery. Decide today to tap into your inner author and begin to write like a top best seller, with confidence. Will everyone like your writing? No. But, there will be more than enough that will! The only way you can fail is just not to start. So, let’s get going!
