You Want Me To Write What?
by Marjorie J ~ . Filed under: Creative Writing Made Easy.Have you ever had someone who knows that you write ask you to write something for them that is totally not of interest to you? How do you handle that kind of situation without fussing at the person who asked you?
Well, the easiest way to do that is to take the topic and approach it as if you were a reporter. Gather the facts, the details and important tips and information important to the topic and write it out from that perspective. Then perhaps you can tell your person asking that you will not be able to write any more about the topic for them. Unless, of course, it became more interesting to you as you did the research, which occasionally happens.
For now, it’s just the facts about the topic that need to be communicated. Have fun being a reporter.
